The washer worked fine last week. Went to use it tonight and it would not agitate but spun out fine. Took front off and pulled motor snug and it tried to agitate but struggled and motor would quit, if I let off the motor it would would run and ride up the belt. I am afraid transmission issues. any thing else I should check ? Thanks. Jeb

I'm afraid you are on the right track....tranny issues

some lock up tight and wont agitate, others operate off and on, a hit and miss when its time to agitate....

a 50/50 call if to fix, or find a new machine....
