Mark, Thanks. That was fun to watch. That tumble speed looks like it is fast enough to keep things like bed sheets from balling up during the wash and rinse.

yes! yes!. Great video, i love that sound. And Hoovers are amazing machines. They are on my top 5 list. Mostly other people dislike Hoover, cant understand that. The doors on these machines really looks nice.

I saw your dryer video clip too. Thats a nice dryer you have there. When i lived with my parents, our neighbours had a similar dryer. My family had a Baucknecht dryer. Not very good at all. It almost caught on fire after only 7 years in use. Our neighbours had the hoover until they moved, and who knows, maybe its still there. I havent met the other neighbours that moved in.

Brings back so many memories of sitting in front of my nana's A3060! Can't beat that 2 minute anti crease tumble. If I remember correctly, if you selected synthetics it would only do the 500rpm phase of the spin, and then tumble through all parts of the cycle where it otherwise would spin on cottons? I.E. instead of jumping up to 800rpm, the drum would just tumble constantly for 5 or 6 minutes until it reached the end of the cycle?

Hi Guys

Thanks for your comments. It is a fab machine and I LOVE IT!!!

Tom the tumble speed is good yes and gives great efficient tumbling during the wash and rinse cycles. Also has the old fab high level rinses you would get on the older Hoover machines.Comes not far from halfway up the door! Like Darren I love high level rinses as you really feel your clothes are getting a proper and decent rinse.

Jon on the synthetics cycle it just skips the 800 and 1100 spin by turning the programmer past them.It starts to go into 800 spin for a second then turns past this and the 1100 til it gets to the final tumble.

YAY

Yay for Brit front loaders. Splashy wash and jet takeoff spins. Love those old Hoovers.
