Hello everyone,

putting some feelers out to see if anyone would be interested in adopting a pair of 1977 Lady Kenmores. Washer works but leaks, i have it apart now and found there is a hole rusted through the outer tub. Dryer works good, rollers are getting noisy.

I know people collect these old things and would rather see them go to a good home where someone can put the time and devotion into them.

I am located in PA just across the river from Trenton,NJ. You would be responsible for pickup; i will not hold these forever.

Yes they are goatfarmer, i hate to see them go, as of now i am just replacing the washer, have a new speed queen on the way Wednesday the 29th. Maybe i will stick this thing out in the garage and try hitting the leaky drum with flex seal or rhino liner to see if i can seal it up and keeper going. They were well maintained, this house belonged to a buddy of mine and his parents had passed and sold it to me; so i inherited all appliances with it. He worked for Sears from 1970-2016 in appliance / TV repair so they were always in top shape. This 1977 set are the newest appliances i own, fridge is 1967 Admiral, stove is 1968 42" wide Sensi-Temp with push buttons (anyone have a sensitemp sensor? mine broke...) and a 1952 Kelvinator (basement beer fridge). All will probably outlast me.....
