Hi all. My Maytag A806 was working fine (with a small leak at the tub seal) until I let it sit for a couple of years. The washtub is seized and I cannot remove the agitator to replace the seals. The motor, transmission, pump, and controls worked just fine. It has no rust (that I can see) and looks very clean inside the cabinet. It's beige/almond, if that matters, with no chips or dents. Very nice.

Come and get it!

I tried posting this earlier but I don't see it, so please excuse it if this is a duplicate.

Thanks.

Brad

(I'll post this to both threads, just in case...)

Brad-

I'd love to take this one off your hands!  I'm the guy who just replied to your Craigslist post, pleading to have you not let them haul it away tomorrow.  laughing   If you're willing to hold on to it for just a bit longer until I can get out your way, please let me know, and I'll make sure it gets fixed up and taken good care of!

Thanks

I hope this beauty gets saved!  Keep us posted.

I think maybe Brad can't see the Shoppers Square forum without being upgraded, but through some sort of bug was still able to create a post that landed there.

Shoppers Square is not restricted.  There are posts from non-upgraded members, and I can read all the posts when not logged-in.

Thanks for confirming.

I hope this nice machine didn't end up on the scrap heap.

'Lowefficiency' will make the trip to save this Maytag! Glad it can have a new life.

Many thanks to the supportive community at automaticwasher.org.

Brad
