.
Found a fully operational electric Neptune DC for $25(!) but it is just a bit too big for my Saturn LW300...do these come apart much? Top from bottom etc...

They come as a single unit IIRC

Some parts have gone NLA.  All the specimens I've run across in my area have been gas which doesn't work for me ... not that I have room for such a monstrosity, although it'd match nicely to my Neptune TL.

A monstrosity

is almost an understatement.

I've looked at those when they were new in the showrooms...however I have no need for such!  But it is a neat concept.

yeah, these dryers are based on the Norge design...

wishing it was more along the lines of a Maytag.....

but someday I may add one to my collection....I would need one in gas, yet the upper part would still operate off electric for heating....

with all the features and options, you would get a lot of laundry dried fast...the lower drum as a traditional dryer, the upper section could steam/freshen clothing, hanging bar that shakes as it dries, flat racks for delicates and sweaters, hooks for sneakers, accessories, and hats...

Asko had a drying cabinet at some point too, but it didn't have a drum.  I can see where one of these would be beneficial in Sweden to dry sweaters, boots, and shoes though.
