What a great looking control panel on this Hotpoint range. The cook would feel like they were piloting the Jupiter II! I hope that someone might save this, the current owner may scrap it...

Interesting that the seller notes "The stove top is fully functional. The elements aren't..." Wonder if they mean in the oven?

The ad is a month old and indicated the stove would be dispatched to the scrap heap on, I'm guessing, 3/10.

 

That is one nutty looking console.  More buttons than there are burners.  I'm not surprised that the seller couldn't find any records of this model.  It looks like there was a lot to go wrong with that control panel.  I hope this stove was saved by some patient person.

The oven settings were via buttons, not dials. That accounts for the two banks of 4 buttons each.
