Threw a load of mixed colors in the Tag and selected warm wash. Since my OCD makes me watch what it does I was surprised at how it makes "warm". I've been used to "warm" setting mixing the hot and cold together and then dropping hot if it exceded the set point. But the Tag does something different and I'm not sure I like it. When I select warm it will start to fill with hot water then switch to cold and back and forth. I guess the outcome is the same as mixing the two steams, but it means that colored items are soaked with hot water. Seems odd to me.

We have a WP made Admiral it does the same routine.  In winter when cold is extremely cold it is very annoying. In the hot summer when tap cold is warm almost seems like the resulting tub of water is cooler than "winter warm".  To be honest I fearlessly use hot all the time, it is not the hot many of us are familiar with.  I shower in water hotter than what it provides on hot.

Air, I agree. Used to be that "hot" was uncomfortable to touch, now it feels like warm.
