I remember them. There is a member of this blog who is a very private person who has one of these washers----it's like new! Thanks to Larry,RIP, I have a brand new agitator like this I can put in my machines. |

It only dispensed what you loaded before you started the load. There were no reservoirs. |

I always thought it strange that the solid tub machines had a smaller than most capacity and the new models had a larger than anyone else capacity for quite a while. |

My aunt had a MOL solid tub Norge back in the early 60's and the back-opening lid did not open all the way. It stopped at about the one o'clock position and held there. It did not make sense to me at the time as to why it was designed that way.
Seeing this machine in the ad, I realize the partial-opening lid design and mechanism may have been to accommodate the dispensomat angling out on the control panel. Maybe they used it in all Norge models, even if the machines did not have the dispensing system. |
