 Shipping damage is more likely related to the delivery carrier(s) (to the warehouse, from the warehouse to you) than the selected online seller ... although quality of packaging from the seller is sometimes less-than-reasonable. I determine the part number then shop it at several sources for best price. In some cases of multiple items I may get them from multiple sources depending how it works out with both price and shipping. | ||

 Although you probably won't find the selection of appliance parts that a typical parts house would carry, I would certainly try Amazon first. When my squeeling washer pump needed replacing I checked around. About $70+ from Maytag and close to that at other parts sellers. On Amazon, the exact same pump was $12.95 and there was no charge for shipping. The same was true for the evaporator fan for my Whirlpool all-refrigerator.
Whenever I want or need something or see an item advertised that I'd like to buy, I run it by Amazon first.

Thank you! I've been looking for something like that, especially with someone who I can trust. I will certainly give you a try. Question, can I run obsolete/vintage part numbers by you? I end up with a lot of cases where an item is listed for sale as available but out of stock. I then order it only to latter receive conformation its no longer obtainable from the manufacture.
