Shame about the stand, although it should not actually affect operation. Good price with the extra bowls

Mid 1960s into 1970s.
I always associate these mixers with Fanny Cradock as they are all she ever seemed to use in her TV shows You need to move to 8.36 on the video. PS I just got one of these (with a stand) NIB :) CLICK HERE TO GO TO vacbear58's LINK on eBay |

That Philips Mixer 1 was Philips' first attempt to a handmixer. It was introduced in 1959. Both my mother and my grandmother had one. With 85 Watts it was a rather lame mixer. Another downside was that it only had one speed. They were very well built though, there are still many of them around.
BTW, the foodprocessor is not a Robot Coupe but a Robot Chef. |

With a new kitchen in the offing for me, this hood gave me pause for thought as it would give me a chance to re-create a kitchen that I have admired since I was a teenager (see second picture) - I even have the appliances to do so, although maybe not in orange LOLOLOL

As far as I am aware they manufactured these toasters them selves, there were several varieties although they only had toasters in their product line for about 10 years until mid 1970s

But Creda too - the Creda Constellation - early 1960s. Curious that the two ovens do not appear to have thermostatic controls. At this time Creda experimented with having the grill (broiler) in the main oven cavity - it was not popular in this country

Mid 1970s - there are not that many of these about - I always rather liked them.
It is also listed separately with a BIN of £45. One of these was seen in the latest season of Call the Midwife, about 10 - 13 years before its real time CLICK HERE TO GO TO vacbear58's LINK on eBay |

Not Creda which came later although this is a predecessor of that model. I must admit there was a sharp intake of breath when I saw this as it may have been the first I have seen on ebay, but no room for it at the moment. Its mid-late 1960s and you cannot argue with the price

This came across my sights whilst browsing. I would place it as late 1960s.
Note also the reference to dual standard 405 and 625 line transmissions - at this time some people would not get all three (yes THREE, and only THREE) stations on 625 (BBC 2 was only broadcast on 625) and I remember seeing the new UHF aerials going up alongside the older VHF (405 line) aerials. These dual standard inly lasted a few years - when my parents bought their first colour TV in summer 1972 it was single standard 625. A question for Louis, did Philips sell the same products in Holland and across Europe? CLICK HERE TO GO TO vacbear58's LINK on eBay |

For many years ITT were known here as ITT-KB as they bought up the old Kolster Brandes name, but they dropped the KB part of the name in the early 1970s.
