Lawrence, not sure if you would be interested in any of these. Located at a used appliance store in Foley, AL. I picked up a little 3 burner GE turquoise stove from them--wished I could have bought them all!

Here's a picture of the little GE 3 burner. It looks to be a stand alone vs. a drop-in. I've searched the internet for one like this, and have run across just a few, but they are all 4 burners. We think it's a '64?
First picture is how it looked when we bought it. Second is the model/serial number, and the third picture is after a little cleaning. No idea if it works, as we haven't plugged it in. I bought this before I bought big Estelle. |

Great clean up on the GE. Love to see something looking dirty and tired given a little attention and made to look nice again. I would agree it being from 1964 as the Y in the serial number would indicate. GE seemed to do a strange thing with the serial numbers between 61 and 68. Some sources indicate they used a two letter designation but from what I've seen only one letter indicates the year like the numbers before and after did.

The GE looks very nice now! I always thought the Westinghouse in the first picture was interesting. I've never seen one, but have known of them for many years as there was a picture of that model in the book that came with my mom's '53 "Imperial 30" range. |
