Yes, have done pretty much the same using either wash tubs or the bath for washing and rinsing. Then the mangle or spin dryer to get out the water. It is great for small loads instead of bothering with the Miele or even Oko-Lavamat. Both time wise and that the Miele doesn't really like small loads; tends to go out of balance and bang about.
Have also done tons of small things like many napkins and placemats. Once get the Maytag wringer sorted will have a way to get larger things like blankets done as well. Would love to find a Bock extractor like a member has; but so far all the ones one have come across didn't strike one's fancy. |

I love the Miele 75 TeilAutomatic. The thermostat is connected to the timer, so it starts only agitating when the selected temperature has been achieved. That was a beginning of automation in doing laundry.
Silly boys though to leave the clothes in the Miele when it's draining, the Miele doesn't have a separate pump function, it can only pump while it's agitating. Great memories btw, a friend's mother had a Miele 75T. She kept it in a meticulous condition, after every wash day the agitator was removed to let the machine dry completely. |
