Hi all -

My dad worked at Simpsons in Adelaide, South Australia from 1975 through to 1983. Beyond that time, he serviced washing machines and other white goods until about 2005.

As a result, I've got an imperial truck-load of parts that I need to get rid of (and a mid 1970s Simpson Fluid Drive 2 speed Automatic washing machine).

Parts include motors, gearboxes, timers, pumps, hoses, inlet valves, diverter valves, belts, clamps, general assembly parts, special tools and god knows whatever else.

It will probably be a month or so before I get to lay it all out and photograph it, but I plan to put it all in crates and sell them off as a complete package to the highest bidder.

Here's your preliminary notice if you're interested.... :)

If you're a business, or a hoarder of all... I get it...

But what would I want with Simpson parts...

Am interested to know what ole top loader Hoover parts are about...

All in all it's awesome you took the time to put it out there to us who are interested.... many wouldn't give us the opportunity...

Sure would be interesting to see Blackstone-related parts.

Shipping to the U.S. might be prohibitive for parts, etc.; but would there be any advertising material?

Baily, the first two sentences of your post are rather rude.

Yes it's awesome that Greg took the time to sign up and post the info here, giving us appliances enthusiasts a chance to get some needed parts or stock up on spares.  But comments like that may insult him or others and may close that door again for us.
