Get off your butts people and go get it.  Ignore the energy police, it's worth it!

Travis, you are my twin.

Energy use be damned. Glad to see a twin to my own '63…and so sad it's in NY. Have you tired of your '66 yet?!?!?

Allen,

It seems that you should contact this seller about getting parts, if not the whole thing.  It would be better to see some parts go to you, than the whole thing go to scrap.

If Rochester wasn't five hours away Id look into getting it.

What parts do you need?

Hey Allen,
Remind me what parts you need for yours? I have the same 1963 in white and am missing some interior parts. I'm debating on making a weekend trip to get this one and have sent an email to the seller.

I don't need much, really. Just some odd bits to have for the long term. If you wind up getting it and don't need all of it, here's a rough list of my "wants"…just off the top of my head.

What I'd like to have to make this better for daily use:

1) the door liners if they are uncracked and/or nicer than my current originals.
2) Hydrator spring loaded clear lid if undamaged (Mines intact, just warped and has a crack running through middle
3) Plastic shelf covering the lower meat/tender utility bins (the track holding the middle drawer in mine is missing/broken)
4) white plastic bracket between the two larger meat tender drawers (it presses into porcelain floor and holds the chrome support column in place)
5) I *think* I need a pair of the grey vinyl coated roller guides for the wire shelf which sits just above the meat tenders. I believe it's supposed to roll out…mine just sits atop the rollers/meat tender plastic cover

Stuff "just because":

1)exterior handle/banded trim/badges
2) spare cold control
3) spare foot pedal assembly
4) spare kick plate cover (especially if it still has retaining clips/springs affixed--mine are missing
5) spare freezer door gasket if it is still good and serviceable
