The adjustable fins fell out of the Variflex agitator on Lady Kenmore 900 series washer. It's not causing damage. Will I get enough turnover and cleaning power using the agitator without fins? |

How did they fall off? I've taken this agitator apart and put it back together a number of times. Easier than you'd think.

It will not work well with the fins not in place, with the fins out even on hi-speed agitation you are getting very little action.
Some one will have to remove the agitator bolt to fix this, you may be better off just putting in a regular agitator in if it can not be fixed easily, but in any event the washer is not going to be very useful without the three fins. |

Couldn't you just put a Straight-Vane or Roto-Swirl on there and carry on? |

Had a Vari Flex machine for over 20 years, never had an issue with the setting changing or the fins coming out. This is odd. |

I have spares. I don't think major surgery is involved. A nut driver or socket. Some simple tools. |
