This looks familiar. BUT NOT THE PRICE!!!

AD: "This vintage refrigerator still has all it's original parts and works like a charm. It is very large with deep, adjustable shelves that slide out. Fresh Food control dial to adjust your cold preference. Two drawers for Meats, Fruits and Vegetables as well as a butter compartment in the door with temperature control. Very large slide out freezer with two metal wire shelves that also slide out. This antique beauty has so much storage for a big family and it's a cool piece. Sad to see it go, but selling because moving across the country.
66" Tall
25" Deep
33.5" Width "

The price is spot on.

But geez, where are the smaller versions of this fridge?  I can only fit a 30.5" wide model in my space.

Not from the 70's

but rather about '64 or '65. My cousins had a slightly later model in Coppertone; looked the same except the handle.

Now THAT'S the one I REALLY want!

The smaller model I have is always a bit too full, even though it's still the overflow fridge. Mine is a '64 model. I guess this is a '65+ model. I noticed it's lacking the light in the top, center like mine has, also the freezer is dark. Either the bulb is out or they deleted that light as well. Still would snap it up in New York minute if it were closer.

Louie, it must be a '65, as the handle was changed for the "66 models. I've seen a picture of the '66 model in Turquoise, of which production soon ended when Avocado was introduced. Friends of the family had one in Canary Yellow from '66 or '67.

The linked ad from '66 shows the difference. I think the newer design is much more attractive.
