I have been looking for one of these for a while. I found one that was over priced. This one is priced just right! Somebody with a monitor top needs to get this little gem. |

I think I may just do that! BTW, off subject but your screen picture. What band is that? I like it. |

That would be the outstanding group from Australia, the Seekers. Judith Durham, Keith Potger, Bruce Woodley, and Athol Guy. This post was last edited 05/06/2017 at 06:08 |

When I was a kid, we got a puppy barely more than a week after JFK was assassinated. My uncle had visited for Thanksgiving and gave my sister and me the money. She was a beautiful German short-haired pointer and we named her Jackie.
Well, as kids we were absentee when it came to care and feeding, and Mom got fed up. Of course, both of my parents were correct in stating that the dog was having a miserable life, and that she would be better off on a ranch where she could run and be of use, as she could indeed stop, point and retrieve.
One weekend my dad went pheasant hunting at a friend's almond ranch and had pre-arranged to leave Jackie behind with someone up there. My sister and I accepted this as the best thing for her.
I really missed Jackie and at the time, "I'll Never Find Another You" was a top 40 hit record, and it couldn't have captured my sentiments better. I still can't hear that song without thinking of Jackie, but yeah, after two more tries over a ten year period with German short-hairs, one of which chewed a giant hole in the new sofa sleeper, I gave up on that breed. |
