Hi all,
My Frigidaire Laundry Center was bought new by my parents for our vacation mobile home I am guessing sometime between 1972-75, and it is still there and functional, but just last year the timer broke. I can still wash if I move the nob manually through the cycles, but I'd really like to replace the timer if I can find one. I love this old Laundry Center. I don't want to get rid of it. Where today could anybody find a washer/dryer combo that would last nearly 50 years like this good 'ol one?! I don't have the actual model # to provide or a picture (the unit is at the mobile home and I'm not there right now), but I have pictures of the part I need. Original part # is 634968, and I see when I attempt to look it up that it appears it was replaced by part #636442. Can someone please point me to a website where I could buy one of these parts? I have seen a couple sites that list this part # for sale, but I'm nervous to buy because there is no picture. I'd also be interested in purchasing a repair manual if one exists for the 1970's Laundry Centers. Thank you so much! I love seeing the pictures in this forum. I'm lucky to have a pristine one... one family owned and cared for for nearly 50 years. It's just white though.. no fun 70's color. Thank you for any help you can provide!

It is the "timer motor".  if you can look at the numbers on it, I may have one to send you.  Is it a kingston motor?

Response to mayken4now

Hi mayken4now,
Yes, it is a Kingston timer motor.

Kingston
Model 60
120 V.A.C. 3W
Kokomo Ind. USA

Pat. No. 2703347 (the 4 might be a 6... very tiny and hard to read)
Part# 0634968 (listed on the black circuit board area)

Let me know if you have a match and how much you would like for the timer.
Thank you!
-Sheila

Gotta say..........Been a member here for a long time now. This is the 3rd time that I have helped someone who is begging for a part or for advice. Went the extra mile, send not one but two or three replacements to help them out and guess what? She last posted here on 05/17/2017. Ah, July 02 today and no word. Not even an acknowledgement of receipt.

Folks Man!

I'm Done.
