In an effort to consolidate all my posting of vintage and/or interesting appliances for sale online, I decided to create this recurring thread. Though the emphasis is on washers and dryers, other appliances are welcomed as well. For Electronics, please visit the sister thread, Vintage Finds Online: Electronics (Link below).
Please keep in mind that some of the ads may be older. The items advertised may or may not be still available. Nevertheless, it's interesting to see what the sellers think they are worth, even if some are pretty delusional. I'll try to keep the postings at 100 or so before I start another part. Remember, this is just passing along an ad, no endorsements are being made or implied for sites, services or sellers. Always use your better judgement when responding to an ad.

This is actually a D&M (an Admiral, not a Hobart) and from the photos (or lack thereof) there do not appear to be any racks!

Vintage Chrome Sunbeam Mixmaster Model 12 (1957-67), 12-speed electric mixer. Includes: 2 beaters, 2 glass bowls, juicing bowl attachment with 2 juicers, spout and strainer, meat grinder and drive convertor, original instruction book, spare power cord.
I bought this a few years ago because it was identical to the one I grew up with. I've used it many times and it's worked well. The power cord is a somewhat stiff but not yet brittle. Is that a rotisserie, for real? Is it an illusion, but it looks like a toaster oven. Compared to what is being sold, even by Ronco today, it doesn't look like you could put much in there except teensy-itty bitty fowl(Cornish Hens) and chicken parts (parts is parts, as the Wendy's ad used to say).

That's a 17 cu ft 3 dr cabinet circa 1928-30.

The flat top units were all made in the 1940's to replace the older units. That's an older cabinet with the wood breaker strips. It would have had a DR3 unit like I have in the kitchen.
Flat top units run great, but lack the sex appeal of the round units. | ||
