This is the real deal. In excellent condition for their age. Have been using them almost daily for the past year without any major issues. Ready to pass on to next lover of vintage appliances. Check out the pics and contact me for details if you interested. I'm in central Indiana for you to pick up or arrange shipping. $700 OBO

So sorry, I believe I did respond to all the people who made contact with me. But after allowing ample time none were able to arrange final details . Still waiting to sell and hoping this Forum might be more appropriate.I just checked the other forum and only saw last post asking if it had sold yet, but no new offers. Is there another way I should proceed?

I would buy them right now, but not for $700.00 or anything near that. Not trying to insult you is the easy way out. I haven't responded.

Parts for those are very scarce unless one already has built-up a good supply of Hotpoint parts of that era. I would hate to have to start shopping around, cold turkey, for a critical part for those. Also, Hotpoints of this era were not known for their dependability.

At $300.00 I might justify having a "static" set. Send me a message if you feel like we can work a deal.

But if I had nothing better to do with money, I would.

Impressive -yet another example of what used to be and is no more.

I hear ya- their age is a double edged sword: really are a collectible item to be still running, but what about when they stop. I will let you know if I end up going that low on price. Right now I have enough people responding to wait.

No appliance of that age is going to run very long. Guess you guys should just look at the pictures.

It's great that this set has found a new home.

Duke, Mike and I can't wait to see them.  I am not saying this to be rude, but have future arrangements been made for the museum considering both John and Tom are getting older?

I often think about what might happen to my collection in my absence and I'm 44.
