I would like to start by saying that we Love our Speed Queen Laundry Pair. We have had them since 2011 and they work like a dream. However, lately the washer has begun to have a squeaking noise while it agitates. I would just like to know what has caused it and what I can do to fix it? I have included a rinse video. The noise I'm referring to begins areound 1:30. Any advice is appreciated.

sounds like your brakes squeaking, wont really hurt anything, just annoying at times...

the teeniest drop of oil on the disk will stop it....too much and your tub will start to index like when it was new.....

Thanks Yogi

In order to get to the brake, I need to take off front panel? Then where is the brake located?

There are all kinds of videos about speed queen washers on youtube. If you look through some of them you will probably find exactly what you are looking for and see all the components inside your machine.

There is a nylon washer that needs to be installed. It goes between the pulley and the trans. The Ames five minutes to install. I'll follow up with the part #
