first.....as the video began, the SQ agitator has 4 perfectly straight vanes, as opposed to the traditional wavy vanes of the second money shot...
I would say both have comparably equal capacity..... now if you were to compare a TL to a FL, the increase for the same size tub would be substantial.... |

Of a TL vs FL washer the FL washer can wash the same load in about 1/2 the tub space.
That said except for agitator-less washers like the calypso impeller machines are a at a big disadvantage to actually turn over a big load.
The greatest capacity full fill TL washer are models with a Dual-Action type agitator, with a DAA you can easily get 25-35% more clothing to turn over in the tub.

And if that scale is set to pounds, that load is not even 12 pounds. The "small" 45-50 liters 24" Euro frontloaders wash (clean) 11 pounds. The ones with a 65 liter drum can clean at least 7 kg (16 lbs). |

I almost fell apart laughing when I first heard that! Couldn't the just be honest and say that we kept this old design because it works better?
My username may be SQ but I am not a fanboy by any stretch. European FL machines are most likely better for cleaning but of all TL models currently built there is only one for cleaning and durability, but that is by DEFAULT not because of "SQ's Advanced Design." |
