well tahnks for the great response on my first thread. i wasnt to know more about the purple hotpoints.
what were the?...........
water levels like
wash times
wash action anything special?
was the drum the hotpoint drum in the purples? i mean the classic drum that was in the brown hotties through to the last aquarius made before 2000. wm range that had the crouzet timer and only achieved b energy c wash and c spin on all models.
wonder why the last proper hotpoint range (GE)models of 1100 spin and above (1100 1200 1400) only did a 30 second burst of the top speed at the end of the spin. i remember reading in the brochure that it was to stop cresing but surely people buying them must have latched on to the fact they could buy a 1400 spin washer that was rated B or sometimes an A for the same price than a hotpoint which could only manage a C?
more thoughts please

Nick
