Check the perforated drum for little burrs on the metal finish, using a material that's easily 'pooked', such as a pair of old tights/pantyhose/stockings, etc.
Two of the machines I have had, had this very issue. I had to use very fine-grade emery paper to rub the burrs down. One of the machines had a drum weld on the drum inner surface, which was pretty rough to be next to delicate clothes. The burrs can be very small indeed. |

Its a Kenmore 110.20022013, I will look over the basket more carefully this time for any burrs. |

Nope, this is one of the early models. No agitation during fill - it has true water levels. |
