I indeed remember these machines. There were several new laundromats that opened up in the early 70's with these machines. If memory serves me correctly they were called Highlander centers. Most of the ones I saw had the small plastic ticket you would buy at a sort of wall mounted machine to operate the washers and dryers. I don't really remember whether there were dry cleaning machines there or not. I think these machines were available in either the regular capacity or large capacity. Seems that there were also machines similar to these with just the water temp. dial too, instead of the fabric dial. They were nice heavy duty machines that worked well. There were still more speed queen laundries than Maytag ones though.
