I don't want to sound rude, but "interesting," how?  Ugly and cheap looking is par for the course these days and this dryer has that look in spades. Next time, try to share something with more pizazz.

Tom, cut our boy Chris some slack.  He's 16.  From his perspective, knobs and dials are antiquated.

In all honesty your throwing the spirit of this forum under a train. Just because that dryer is BOL does not mean its not a rare oddity. I for one have never seen a stainless steal control panel with black knobs on a small capacity Whirlpool badged machine. Maybe this model is common in your area, but around here I've never seen it.

Interesting-

That's a very retro control panel - reminds me of late seventies Miele (without the orange, of course).

Thanks for sharing.

Looks pretty good value for $175 and not too shabby.

When you get right down to it

How much should one truly expect from a clothes dryer? *LOL*

If it heats, tumbles laundry, and vents the exhaust properly everything else is just gravy IMHO.

Other than the ability to select low heat and have full capacity, I never understood why anyone would get an MOL or TOL dryer. In fact bells and whistles only reduce reliability:

Drum lights are nice to have.

Yup, those are nice, now often found on MOL models.
