This old Silvertone console stereo turned up locally. Alas, it's spoken for...which may be a good thing, because Lord Kenmore wouldn't mind giving it a home, even though he has no space, and a budget of $0...

No one has any idea if it works...

No idea of the age, but it's old enough to have at least one tube, and its new enough to be stereo. The styling somehow looks 60s to me.

Inside. There is a light socket (but a missing bulb) under the black metal thing on the front panel. No idea if its original--the socket and wiring look a tad crude. But who knows?

I'd say post '63 but not later than '66 at the latest?

It's quite handsome. How much are they asking for it?

At this point, it's not for sale.
