This is a 1986/87 Maytag LSE1000.

Dryer works great with no problem.

The wash operates, but:

Some part of the main shaft started leaking, and water got into the transmission. Most of the grease got pushed out and, well, it flings water and grease as it spins.

Some rust at the very bottom. You'd need to take it apart, rebuild it after degreasing. I have full service records.
