Hey everyone!!

I have been looking for one of these for a long time. I have only seen two on eBay, and this was one of them. My parents had one back in the 70s and I have never forgotten it. I tested it, and it works great. The listing said New In Box, never used, but I don't know for sure. It appears to have never been in use. In any case, this is the latest addition to my vintage collection.

I hope you all enjoy the pictures!

I bought one of those new sometime in the late 70's or early 80, can't quite remember.  Friends had one and ergo I wanted one  LOL. . It was pretty good.  But for the life of me at this moment I can't recall what happened to it. I had it for years. Did it finally go kaput and I tossed it because there's no way I would have had it still been working?   Or it's still packed in a box somewhere?  I just can't recall.

I was fascinated by the dial that controlled how much coffee went into the basket. So, of course I had to help my parents make coffee. I was such a weird kid...

That's really neat, do you store coffee in the left side for dispensing into the basket?  I vaguely remember these but our whole family were Mr. Coffee fans so never really had a good look at one.

Hi Gan!
The left side holds about one pound of ground coffee. Just set to the strength you prefer and the number of cups you want and you're all set!

What a very cool coffee maker that is. Coffee Corner...GE always came up with so many great names for their appliances, sort of like car manufacturers with their models. Now it seems everything is letters and numbers...BORING!

Pete:

I'm pretty sure one of the moving trucks when you moved back to where you are did not leave the convoy and ended up in my house with all the treasures inside it.

You will not find your coffee maker in my home among the other treasures that were allegedly inside such truck.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

;-)

Joe,
I agree with you about the names. Coffee Corner imparts a feeling of gathering around with friends, having nice conversation, and just relaxing. Plus, everything is right there at your fingertips. I am loving this coffee maker!!

It's too bad so many of us live so far apart. I would have you all over for coffee!!

It would have to be iced-coffee. It's currently 113 @2:26PM. Alexa says "excessive heat warning"...I think I'll stick her in the fridge.

I've seen this thread title for days and finally decided to check it out. What an interesting coffeemaker with its auto-dosing feature. Don't recall seeing one before. Great name, too. Congratulations on finding one and may you enjoy many cups of coffee from it.
