Bendix Washer

I think that bendix washer is a bendix dryer.Where is the soap spout?

This is actually a washer, the door on the top is a soap dispenser system.

GYRAMATIC - the first of the non-bolt down Bendix.

"Water" had one dial for the Rationer (level) with settings from "low" to 9 (lbs of washing) and the other dial was for temperature - hot or warm.

Now that makes sense! No wonder couldn't find anything for a Bendix "Cyramaric". Should we tell the seller?

Should we tell the seller - nah, the market he's going for has been reached. :-)

That door is over the hopper for the detergent or soap and an auger measured out the amount needed for each wash.

While the machine top looks pretty rough, if the washer isn't salvageable there are parts from it I could use in an upcoming resto. PM me if you're able to help out and we can chat.

Thanks!

Would love to help out in rescuing this machine, but having become recently single, I don't have any help in loading and unloading the machine, nor do I really have the storage space.

Sorry, guys.  Hopefully, this machine won't end up in the landfill or scrap yard.

Ron

Hey Bendixmark,

If you really want that machine and have a vehicle it would fit in, I can meet you there and help you load it, etc.

Ron

Sorry, I checked the brochure (Form No. 6C-107R2) I have for an earlier Gyromatic and its sister models and the Bendix Automatic Soap Injector was optional on Gyromatic and Deluxe Models.
