This was posted on a Facebook group I follow. Per the poster: "I bought this about 15 years ago and placed it on display in one of our showrooms. I'm a GE dealer. This is from 1960 and in never used mint condition. There is a combo washer/dryer, cooktop with built in griddle, oven, dishwasher, disposall and bottom freezer refrigerator."

Holy megawatts, Batman!  That has to be THE most complete and all original Kitchen Center I've ever seen!  1960 was the last year of production for the Kitchen Center, too.   30-inch version of the range, the disposall still there, and that 'slide' control automatic burner...  I need smelling salts!!

I am gobsmacked (and this from a collector who found the 1956 version that had never been installed 'till I got it...) !!!

I was glad to be sitting when I saw these, as I surely would have fallen over if I wasn't.

It is located in Fort Myers, Fl.

What a find.

The only portion of those pics that I can claim are those juice/water bottles in the refrigerator.  I do have one of those.

I have to confess.... I had the original 'cabinettes' with the radio with my GE Kitchen Center but I could not work them into the final plans (I positioned the unit along the wall with a window...).   At least I know they went to a good home - a collector friend of mine got them.

I would so love to have one of these, but there is no way we could incorporate it into the kitchen as it is now. Of course, that would also mean having to get rid of Estelle, and that's not an option.

There is a turquoise kitchen center for sale right now on the Long Island NY craigslist, but it is not complete.

for sale?

Is it for sale, or they're just showing it? Don't see it on craigslist. Les

It is not for sale. It's on display in a showroom.

'bout a year ago, I saw a GE neon like that one be displayed for sale at an auction. Never heard what it sold for.

The pink interior and revolving shelves indicate

that the fridge is from 1957 NOT 1960...GE fridges went to swing out shelves in 1959, the same year they introduced Frostguard...PAT COFFEY
