Hi guys,
I picked up this 1978 Simpson 122 automatic last weekend: being sold off from a deceased estate from a holiday home so used sparingly.
This is the single speed model: 65 OPM 180 degree agitation arc, 625 RPM spin speed.
In very good working order for its age.
Cheers Leon

Thanks for the video Leon. Brought back many memories of my first visit to Australia in 1979. My aunt who lives in Tasmania had the top of the line Simpson washer late 70s that had hot, warm and cold temp selector rocker switch and the load size rocker switch. I loved the way it spun the water out and on full load it all cascaded back in to the tub, really quite dramatic. It also had a suds return setting on the program selector. It lasted until the early 90s when the motor used to keep cutting out.
