I deleted the "may tag oven" from the seller's CL ad heading - where's the oven? :-)

Also, note it's bent on the right side.

Matching Dryer?

I believe that I have a DE806 dryer, built in '69. Looks like a match?

A Frankentag?

I'm going to hazard a guess that based on the bleach dispenser, this machine is several years later than 1969.

An odd combo though, with the gold lower console panel but not that same motif for the timer dial and lacking the "crystal" knob.  Something's not right about that.

Overpriced for the shape it's in.

yeah, Ralph's right....

gold trim started around 1976ish....

and that knob should be crystal....

the dispenser on these was not automatic, so that may be the correct position by now.....

by this time frame, I think the tub light was deleted....

but yeah, too over priced for its condition.....

and 1975 was also the only year gold trim was offered on the Halo of Heat Dryer, the Stream of Heat Dryer aka the Big Door Dryer was introduced in 1976..PAT COFFEY

No Phil, I'm pretty sure he means the washer.  The 806 models were blinged-out as far as Maytags go, at least for a while.

Ralph - thanks. That brings another reason to enjoy a pair of A806's.

yeah, there were a number of deletes by the time they changed to the gold control panel....

washer tub light eliminated....

automatic bleach dispenser, the holding tank on the side was eliminated, just a straight tube into the outter tub only for any machine with the port

some models had a signal light on the console above the timer, that too was phased out.....

yet odd, in the 1985ish stacked LSE1000 set, the washer has a tub light, yet the dryer does not....
