This machine was the model I had for a while back in the 70's. It was a nice machine that held a decent size load that washed, rinsed and spun the clothes out nicely. It had an aluminum agitator and a stainless steel tub like the Speed Queen machines of the same vintage. This machine had the coupling between the motor and transmission somewhat like the DD Whirlpool/Kenmore machine does. A very innovative design for the time. It also had a metered fill and the console panel lit up at the top. Tide certainly had things sewn up by giving a box in most washing machines back then.
