Deepest & tallest electric skillet I've seen

I wandered through Goodwill a few days ago, and saw a Presto electric skillet that must have the deepest pan I've ever seen. I'm guessing it's twice as deep as my Presto my mother had. The lid also seems taller than I've ever seen. The skillet barely fit on the shelf...


No idea of how old it is, but it was US made IIRC (so it's not terribly recent), and the colors suggest 1980s or later to me (so it's not terribly old, either).


Please excuse the bad photos--all I had was my 2009 flip phone...


I didn't think about getting it--the area where the control plugs in had the metal area that surrounds the control bent in to the socket/connector area. And I didn't check the inside, but I have yet to see an interior on a newer skillet at Goodwill that isn't totaled.

I guess you've never seen GE's "Dutch Skillet." It was like a 5 quart Dutch Oven with a domed lid and probably taller than this thing.
