Does anyone have a 1958 RCA Whirlpool Imperial Mark XII washer and dryer, like the one shown in the "Wonderful World Of Wash N Wear"?

The 1958 Whirlpool Imperial Mark XII was the top of the line for that year. I like the color guide control panel, and it reminds me of my aunt's old 1999 Whirlpool Ultimite Care II (which was the Imperial Mark XII of its time), but it must be hard to find. I know a few people on Automaticwasher have the 1958 RCA Whirlpool Washer Dryer, like the one shown in the "Wonderful World Of Wash N Wear"

Just curious, what is the washer who appears on 11:53 from the video on link?? It looks very compact. |

I don't believe one has surfaced, but several years ago the Imperial version of the washer was found down in GA. Not sure if this one is still around or not.

It is kool. Everything works but the timer motor--------that Repairmaster says "DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR THIS TIMER. It must be replaced"! |

I fixed the timer on my Maytag LA712 that I got for free. Now it's in regular service, in place of the Whirlpool that developed a small leak... I say carefully take it apart, taking photos as you go, and see what you can do. :) |
