I met a woman today who is a fellow vintage refrigerator afficionado--she's looking high and low for a blue egg crate/egg holder for her '65 GE. If any of ya have a spare, let me know if I can put you in touch with her. THX!

Speaking for myself, the egg rack is the one thing I could easily live without. The cartons store neatly, and I regularly need to be reminded of the expiration date because I rarely go through a whole dozen of eggs before having to hard boil the ones on the cusp or past it.
At least she has both crispers and most of all, a butter conditioner! |

In a old covered porcelain refrigerator container, I write the date on each egg with a magic marker so I use the old ones first, I don't eat eggs so they don't get used too fast. |
