I refer to myself as The Gray Haired Geek at my four-times-a-year Computer Clinic fundraiser at church and when working on computers from home.  The definitive gray haired animal is a wolf so a Google search for "geek wolf" netted an anthropomorphic cartoon lupine cradling a laptop and adjusting his Adam Savage-inspired horn rims (species: Canis Hypernerdus).  Never one to cheat the artist out of his bread and butter, I paid the fee for a watermark-free image which I tweaked in GIMP as illustrated, including the t-shirt I wear at the Computer Clinic.  Well, not the same shirt.  Wolf hair in the lint filter, you understand.

The only remaining burning question:  Make him look even more like me with a pair of khakis modeled after my own Dickies cargo slacks or preserve the time-honored naked-from-waist-down look pioneered by Donald Duck?

Help me out, World!

Personally, I vote for the middle image.  If it were the only image offered, I'd not give pants a second thought.  However, looking at the last one my reaction is to say -  oh yeah, that one's not wearing pants.  Furthermore, if you feel the need to address pants, what about shoes?

I'm good with your personal version of the T-shirt and nothing more.

Both look good, but since you're trying to customize Mr. Silver Geek Wolf to represent you, I'd say to wear cargo pants if that is what you are known for.

Same thing Rich said: If you're known for cargo pants, go with that one.

And a big thumbs-up for your Computer Clinic church fundraiser, as well!👍

Went with the classic look (Donald Duck style)

A framed 2'x3' blow up and easel are on the way.  The other 2 images are PowerPoint slides.

We're contemplating renting a wolf costume for events.  Putting him in pants would make it uncomfortable for the wearer, not to mention finding cargo khakis big enough to fit over the costume.

Thanks for your interest and support, folks!  :)

I kind of prefer the pants..

But when the original Star Wars was being made, there was controversy over whether or not the Wookie should wear pants, causing a lot of delay in making the movie to the point we almost didn't have Star Wars. But the Wookie is not wearing pants, and we have Star Wars.

Just to remind people that we also work on Mac computers.  Each of their names reference two personal computer historical figures.  Care to guess?

One last visit with Willie . . .

. . . as he gets ready to launch our souped-up and locked-down version of Windows 10 at the next Computer Clinic while embracing his (and my) inner Trekkie.

Yeah, I know, keep an eye peeled for the cease-and-desist email from CBS.
