During an annual sailing week, I take spiritual time to leisurely walk and explore Windy Hill - a 160 acre salvage yard in west centrial Minnesota. I have uploaded a photo of an ill treated what I presume to be wringer washer. I grew up in a body shop and salvage yard nearby and we used such a machine to wash shop rags that we would buy from the gypsies. Ever gotten your fingers in the wringer? I have.

I indeed got my whole hand caught in a wringer. I was quite the precocious child and at the age of 2-3 was playing with my mother's wringer washer while she was two floors above vacuuming (with a Kenmore Commander.) My whole had was pulled in and it took my older brother to break open the wringer to get me out. My mother took me to one of the best plastic surgeons on the north shore of Chicago to have repairs to my hand. Have the scars to this day. Hasn't stopped me from having two wringer washers in my basement. A beautiful Maytag and a Speed Queen. Some people never learn.

If that washer were a child, I'd SO be calling Social Services! (LOL)
