I have never understood why they but that small bake element in that wide oven. That is for a wall oven, not something as bid as this.

Those Carloads must'a been mighty powerful things--to generate that much heat from such a little, teeny-tiny, small size...

That same stove, in avocado, was in our kitchen when we bought this house. Along with an avocado AMC refrigerator.

goat farmer - Are you saying you had the Hotpoint stove in reply #3 in Avocado? Did you keep it or replace it right away? If you kept it, what was your opinion of it?

We had it for a few years, it did OK, nothing special. I remember it had the rear burner with the 8-6-4 switch.
