How do I open the top of the machine to change the tub light bulb?

You take the front panel off then unscrew the top of the washer [ two 3/8"] bolts toward the front and then raise the washers top.

 

The light bulb may be stuck in the socket from corrosion, you may want to use a little penetrating oil on the base and it may break the glass so be careful.

Does that one have a front panel that comes off? Or is everything from the back?

Hi Kenny, All MTs with that style cabinet have removable front panels, only the early AMP style and later high-lander models had a wrap around cabinet.

The screws are on the bottom front.
