Thought i would share with you my latest find. Fully Working & still had the plastic protective film on the control panel. The only thing missing is the chrome trim from around the door.
How well programmed were these considering it's from 1984. Absolutely Brilliant to watch in action. |

with "by appointment of H.M. the Queen" on it. Easy to identify as vintage. I found some Johnson Brothers octagon Greenfield dishes last summer. |

Just about the only thing that is rubbing off it, apart from that it is perfect.

The thing about that machine is that it still looks modern - 30-odd years later! Well done. |

Rolls Rapide,
I myself, have in my time, since 2008, had an Aristocrat Logic A3768 autowasher (see link below for a snap of it), a Logic Premier 1250 washer dryer A8576, three Ecologic 1300 washer dryers A8582 and a NewWave 1300 washer dryer A8612, which I still have, and got off "The Laundry Centre" aka Aquarius8000, Chris. Unfortunately not in current usable state admittedly and most would turn their noses up at washer dryers generally for their drying performances, but when it works, the NewWave works perfectly, both washing & drying, it's not in working order currently, due to a propensity to enjoy blowing the fuse, "watt" it's doing this for, I'm unsure, but it's on the to do list along with my recent acquisition Míele SoftTronic 1500 washer dryer WT945S (snaps of, in pictures). I've not noticed, myself that the cabinetry to my NewWave to be flimsy, particularly, only thing that's loose is the lid atm. The door catches slightly as you open/close, but for a 23yr old machine saved from scrap by Chris, it's weathered pretty well on the outside & inside, far as I can see, the only bit of rust I've noticed is on the bottom metal strip that borders the bottom edge of the cabinet where the wheels & feet are situated. I love the cascade fill and spin-wash feature of this model, and the spin burst sequence during "rinse-spins" rather than the ramp up and set constant speed of most, it works quite similarly to that of my MicroProfile & Sapphire. I look forward to having my own "utility" room to house my collection in and when all my machines are back to full health and are usable, without having to worry about blowing fuses for too many on in one go. Me personally, I'd've used the door from the EcoLogics on the NewWave, if not the entire door and cabinet, and made the fascia touch control maybe. Hmmm, maybe I'll try that idea concept on a design, having created a Servis bodied Hoover Computer Logic, me, I prefer the Computer Logic models to the Computer Control, simply because, with the Computer Logic, at least there was a matching identical set and the autowasher was 1300RPM, not 1100RPM. Have a good week coming everyone. CLICK HERE TO GO TO HooverZanMiele's LINK |

HooverZanMiele, what's that Bosch in your pic? Looks like my WFT2800 (which has just blown its control board!) but with the word Logixx in place of the model number... |

Well done on getting one Hoovers best machines, I am pleased as punch you have one, Hoover put so much into the design of this machine.
Of the Two computer controlled Hoover machines I had, The 1300 computer logic and this one I prefer the this one every time. There is one little feature you have not picked up on yet and that is that it was so ahead of it's time that does in fact have spin balance after the final rinse, it is not like a lot of modern machines which are so over sensitive (probably due to their puny bearings)they take ages to decide if the load is safe to spin. The computer 1300 had the standard Logic vibration sensing switch on the tub which would slow down the final spin until the switch stropped making conduct, so in this respect 1300 was inferior, anyway enough of me waxing on. I hope you enjoy this machine and if you ever want rid I would gladly give it a home. Gary from Cornwall the second home of Hoover |
