Speed Queen Gas Dryers DO NOT need these silly peep holes as you can just remove the lower front panel with two screws and not only get a really good look at what is going on but you can also adjust or repair anything related to the gas burner, operating thermostat and clean the inside floor of the machine WITHOUT taking the dryer apart.
On SQ Electric dryers you can replace the heating element and safety thermostats as well through the generous access panel.
