Rare to see the knob controls on the hood. Out of all the GE cooktops I seen with hood mounted controls, the only one I ever saw with knobs was the one my cousins in TN had, in Harvest Gold>

This was the final design of the GE CKs with the controls in the hood, they all had rotary controls to meet UL requirements after 1974.

These were produced from around 1974-1984, this one being almond would be after 1976.

All the hoods were 36" wide and vented to the outdoors, it is too bad that these excellent hoods and CKs were discontinued, it would have been great if they had redesigned them again to include smooth-top and induction models with the controls above out of reach from children and accidental activation and most of all away from the messy and hot CK surface.

Someone who likes to cook should get this setup.
