Posting for msmaiden, as more people look for things to buy or obtain for free here than in Imperial. Hope you are ok with this.
"I have a Maytag A606 washer, turquoise color that I am offering free for parts. Or perhaps someone here can get it working again. I created a thread on this forum in November 2016 seeking advice. The washer suddenly stopped agitating and with the assistance of the knowledgeable folks here it was determined that the transmission ran out of oil. You can read through the entire thread here: www.automaticwasher.org/cgi-bin/T...... My husband freed the agitator but determined the bearing froze up. Until this happened the washer ran faithfully for over 30 years. Consequently we bought a Speed Queen TL with the mechanical dial that I am very happy with. Hubby would look into repairing the Maytag but he really doesn't have the time. I am sorry to see it go but I need the space. If anyone is interested please contact me for more info. It can be picked up here over Labor Day week or it will go to the town recycle center. I am sorry to see it go but I need the space. " CLICK HERE TO GO TO ovrphil's LINK |

Paul - I have a suggestion if you haven't tried this stuff. I was working on a Magnavox stereo console and stretched the wrong way, laying down on my back, and created a very sore shoulder. Buddy of mine said to try
Arnicare GEL. It really helped, almost right away. Give it a try! CLICK HERE TO GO TO ovrphil's LINK

Thank you Phil! I'm ready to try amputation to relieve the pain... LOL
I will have to check and see if I can bring this into Canada, though. I once ordered a skin care product (OK it was an anti-wrinkle product) but found out when I tried to bring it back to Canada that it contained a form of steroid that is a prescription only product here so it stayed at the border. I needn't mention who keeps reminding me that it's time to give up the collection, restoration projects, and the seemingly endless 'tweaks' to machines in service!!

Paul, your other half might be disappointed if this stuff gives you a little relief or better, more than you expected.
Here's the link for it, avaliable in Canada..and I think this is the wrong place to do anymore discussion on this. So.. I'm done! Hope you try it and it works. CLICK HERE TO GO TO ovrphil's LINK
