I am willing to trade this Maytag electric dryer for a Maytag Halo Of Heat dryer, or I'll take $75.00 for it. Note the washer that is shown in the picture has been sold. You can email me at scasteel1999@aol.com.

I am willing to trade the Maytag electric dryer shown in the picture for a Maytag Halo Of Heat dryer, I have been trying to find a Maytag Halo Of Heat Dryer for awhile, but have had no success on obtaining one at all. If anyone has a Maytag Halo Of Heat they don't want anymore, please let me know! I live in SoCal.

I hate to be a party pooper here, but a HOH dryer has a lot smaller capacity than that one, and a lower wattage heating element or lower BTU gas burner.

Maytag Halo Of Heat dryers don't have the most powerful heating element, or burner, but they must be gentler I n the clothes. If I had a Maytag Halo Of Heat, I would only use if for drying small loads, and only use it once in a while. I have been trying to find a Maytag Halo Of Heat dryer, but I have had no luck on obtaining one at all. My Maytag DG810 dryer does not dry small loads all that well, and if I had a Maytag halo of heat, I could just dry small loads in it.

Best dryer for small loads

Far and away is a 29 inch whirlpool product, Maytag HOH dryers actually run very hot and the clothing is way too close to the heating element or gas heat source to be considered a very gentle dryer.

well you asked for a 'halo of heat'....and that's whats available....at an exceptional price, for a set no less...

coupled to an 806 washer....what more could you want.....

can everyone check their inventory for a 'halo of heat' dryer in white, brand new in the box?

would that be natural gas or propane?

electric....3 or 4 prong plug?

I asked for a Maytag halo of heat, but they are either far away, or they are asking too much. If anyone finds a Maytag halo of heat dryer in SoCal, please let me know! I know that is in Seattle, but that is far away from me. $50.00 is a good price though...

There are shippers remember that will deliver the dryer to you, exactly what is the maximum price you will pay for said dryer?

I have seen that copper tune Maytag before, looks like they finally decided to lower the price. Even though they lowered the price $300.00 is still pricey, if they want to sell it asap, they at least need to lower the price a little more.

While we don't know what they mean by "serviced at BnB", I suspect the seller paid someone to look at them, possibly service them. Translation - the seller doesn't want to give them away for free.

If I was desiring a panel lit Maytag set and a set popped somewhat close and within a weekends drive, I'd make an offer. To be honest, $300 isn't a horrible starting point considering these aren't growing on trees. Tough to be picky in this day and age when collecting 40 to 50 year old appliances.

Agreed, Ben. They're close, you probably won't find a similar set for a while. Plus Coppertone is a bit unusual, I've only seen a few sets over the years.

I pick up appliances I know I'll never use, just to save them from the scrapyard. I have issues......kiss
