Not one, but TWO, unopened Oster model 848 blenders! $12.99 each! The blender pic is a stock image, I don't want to open these...

I wouldn't have been able to pass up a deal like that either!

I'm still not absolutely sure the stock photo blender looks exactly like what's inside those boxes.   I've googled various Osterizers I've picked up in the past, and there are a lot of variations across supposedly identical model numbers.

So there is no image of the contents on the box?  Is wattage provided anywhere on the box?

I don't think carefully removing the staples on one box to examine the contents would have any impact on the value.

There were two more boxes but they were both opened but unused. I should have taken a pic but it looked pretty identical. Here's another I found with the full model # 848-36 on the box. Looks the same.

I gave $35 for mine in 1984, still using it today.
Correction, mine is a 16 speed.

I have something similar on my eviction pile, but in a harvest gold shade instead of almond.  I'll have to check the model number.  It makes an electrical smell when it runs, and I have no shortage of spares, though not 848s, that are more powerful.
