This Maytag model was quite attractive looking. I did run across a set of these one in a pastel green color. This model was right before Maytag started making the machines with a center dial and flat console which they did until 1966. It had the first mechanism design and the double inner tub that spun out over the top into the outer tub. It did not hold a very large load, but was adequate at washing, rinsing and spinning out the clothes.

That machine was a beast . 318 bs. These must have weighed more than WP/KM machines from the same time.
