Hi guys and hippy dolls

I'm having problem with my Maytag stacked washer and dryer (LSG7806AAE)
The machine lives at my cabin in big bear lake California ( elevation is 6450). The machine is outside in the carport. Since it gets quite cold in the winter as low as 5° I only use the machine May through October then it is winterized

Here's the problem the machine won't fill set the timer Pullto start nothing. If I fill the machine manually to low medium or high it will start washing. I had thought I needed new fill valve which I installed , the new Fill valve won't fill

I had an appliance repair guy out , he took one look at the machine laughed ( said these are really hard to work on ) took my $75 check and left.

So any suggestions are welcome
Thanks in advance
Rob

Lid switch assembly and inlet Valve fuse. There is a lid switch and a check switch In a box on the right rear of the washer cabinet. If either switch fails or sticks, it trips the fuse to disable the fill portion of the cycle.
