Nice looking range. Not from the 50's, but circa 1980. |

Zoning requirements in Stepford...whoops! Mt Lebanon, require each new homeowner to rip out anything in their kitchen over 1 year old and replace it with the conformity of granite, quartz, stainless, pot filler faucets, gigantic range hoods, islands bigger than the actual island of Greenland, and other items to ensure conformity with the bubble that is the town. Here is a helpful link for new residents, and information on what passports, visas, and clearances visitors need

Mt. Lebanon does have among the highest property values in the Pittsburgh area. Still, it isn't Fox Chapel, nor was Falling Water built there. |

I love it!
Everytime I see one of these 40" double-oven GE stoves, I always wonder, "why didn't GE put a little window on the little oven door?" I think it would of made the stove more apealing, to me anyways. I like the idea that you can peek through the window and see if your baking is starting to get golden brown without having to open the door, losing temperature from the oven, and getting blasted in the face with the hot oven air. :o/ |

Here's one that reminds some of us who like these stoves, why we prefer the dials...
